Acclaimed portrait photographer Gemma Levine is passing on the knowledge she picked up during her fight against cancer.

Gemma’s new book Go With The Flow is a journey through the disease. Amongst other important subjects, Gemma discusses the “importance of exercise to anyone undergoing treatment”.

Jon Bowskill, my book’s expert on the relationship between exercise and rehabilitation, points out that it isn’t just about the muscle tone or calories.

Exercise stimulates the parasympathetic nervous system and that aids healing.” She also talks about various professionals “who together can transform the most dreaded of diagnoses from an isolating and fearful experience into a journey of hope.”
